Collected Appraisals provides thorough and reasoned written appraisal reports to clients for a wide range of objectives.
Appraisals are utilized for many purposes and vary based on a client's needs. some common uses include:

FILING AN ESTATE TAX RETURN
DIVIDING PROPERTY IN A DIVORCE OR ESTATE
RECEIVING AN TAX DEDUCTION FOR NON-MONETARY CHARITABLE DONATION
SUBMITTING DAMAGE LOSSES TO INSURANCE
To obtain a written appraisal, Collected examines each item in person. During the in-hand evaluation, we take detailed notes on condition, age, size, type, material, etc. and document with digital photographs. After our in-hand evaluation, we utilize our notes to write detailed descriptions accompanied with photographs, conduct additional research, and arrive at a value conclusion.
All written appraisals are developed and written in conformity with the current International Society of Appraisers’ Appraisal Report Writing Standards as well as the current version of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Clients receive a digital copy of the appraisal report sent electronically in pdf form. If you are utilizing the appraisal report for donation, Collected will also include a signed IRS 8283 form. ALL COLLECTED APPRAISAL CLIENT INFORMATION, WORKFILES, AND REPORTS ARE securely storeD for five years or two years after the final disposition of litigation (if applicable), as mandated by USPAP.

Collected Personal Property Appraisals inovices clients for their written appraisals on an hourly rate of $125 per hour. Collected appraisals has a minimum base rate of $250 for all clients. After our initial conversation, Collected Appraisals will be able to provide you with a quote for the entire project based on estimated time on-site, research, and report writing.
